As the Logistics and Inventory lead, you are responsible for the daily warehouse operations. You will support our sales team and our customers by ensuring on time shipping and receiving orders and the time processing of reverse logistics operations. You will also be providing proactive communication, collaboration, managing details, meeting commitments and goals, sharing knowledge, and most importantly, relationship building.

Your role requires that you be a combination of thinker, people person, project manager, communicator, and problem-solver, with an eye for detail and an ear for catching concerns and addressing them before they become issues.

Responsibilities Include
  • Build strong, lasting vendor, suppler and carrier relationships.
  • Be extremely responsive to internal and external requests.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service.
  • Be knowledgeable about our products and services including headsets, phones, video conferencing systems, gateways, etc.
  • Perform other duties to help the company rock and roll.
  • Understand the value of prioritizing, planning, and finding agile ways to get the best solution, service, or product into the hands of the customers.
  • Run a tight warehouse.
  • Process customer returns on a timely manner.
  • Request return authorization from vendors as needed.
  • Facilitate return of equipment between UC and customer and UC and vendor to ensure fast credit.
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure the receipt of credit from vendors.
  • Work with accounts receivable to ensure the issuance of credit and or customer refunds.
  • Contact carriers periodically to negotiate rates and or upgrade equipment.
  • Work with different carriers like UPS, FedEx, Tecex, Blackthorne, LTL Carriers, etc.; to keep up to date the software platforms used for shipping.
  • Manage and backup the Assistant Warehouse Manager who reports to the Logistics & Inventory manager.
  • Assist with customer service issues relating to delivery with carriers and vendors. • Run reports daily to ensure orders get fulfilled and ship as soon as possible.
  • Order shipping supplies and ensure low price.
  • Reorder necessary supplies for company issue (office supplies/kitchen restock.)
  • Maintain accurate inventory (weekly cycle counting, quarterly physical inventory, etc.)
  • Refining and developing process to prevent shipping mistakes.
  • Ensuring complete loss prevention strategy and maintain warehouse security.
  • Maintain Warehouse Cleanliness. Get it to a level we would be proud to show off and have a customer walk through.
