The New CS500 Series from Plantronics

The CS500 series is the latest addition to the Plantronics CS family of wireless UC headsets. With an updated design and many new features, we are very excited about the CS500 series.

The gem of the CS500 series is the CS540. The first thing you’ll notice about the CS540 is its sleek new look. The convertible headset, which can be worn over the ear, over the head or behind the neck, is only 21 grams, making it the lightest DECT headset on the market. The CS540 slides easily into the magnetic docking and, once charged, has up to 7 hours of talk time.

A great new feature to the CS500 series is the ability to conference in 3 additional headsets. Just dock the headsets in and they are auto-subscribed.

The CS540 also features adaptive power capabilities. The power output is adjusted depending on how close you are to the base station, giving you more battery life. The CS540 has 350 feet of range so you are free to roam the office at your leisure.

As with any Plantronics headset, the CS500 series possesses unparalleled sound quality. The CS540 supports both narrowband and wideband for versatile sound performance and has a noise-canceling mic, SoundGuard, Enhanced DSP, and new DECT technology with protection against Wi-Fi interference, so you get crystal clear sound with every conversation.

And for added convenience, the CS540 has an auto-answer feature. When engaged, the headset will automatically answer a call when you pick it up from the docking station for an even more efficient work flow.

The CS500 series is fully compatible with the HL10 handset lifter and Savi style Electronic Hookswitch cables for better call control.
