IBM Lotus Sametime software is the IBM award-winning and market-leading software platform in the IBM Unified Communications and Collaboration strategy UC2, which helps enterprises enable their users to find, reach and collaborate with each other to speed decision-making.

This free software (a plug-in for Sametime version 8.02 and 8.5 clients) enhances the voice experience via intelligent call controls that allow the user to be truly hands free!  The enhanced capabilities for wireless headset users include: call answer/end, remote ring detection and volume and mute control, providing a more productive and collaborative working environment. 

These capabilities extend to Plantronics’ UC headsets including the latest Voyager® PRO UC Bluetooth and Savi® Office wireless headsets, enabling users to switch conversations between multiple devices, such as the PC or mobile phone, directly from the headset with a single button press.
