Account Executive - Houston, Texas

Innovative, fun, fast-paced company in the communications and collaboration space seeking bright, cheerful account executives to manage, grow and develop a good-sized existing book of business and to take advantage of strong market growth opportunities.

As an account executive with UnifiedCommunications, you will have access to a wide range of solutions and products from across the UC (unified communications) space, including office collaboration solutions from the auditorium to the huddle room, to the desk, to the on-the-go worker.

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in the field of business communications or business technology solutions would give you a head start; but as long as you’ve got corporate or public sector sales experience, consummate professionalism, an ease with technology, then we can train you to do the rest.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Prospect, target, research, contact and close new business by phone, web conference and in-person
  • Conduct periodic client business reviews to determine their needs and how to best fulfill them
  • Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings to build and provide value in your relationships
  • Work with the technical team to write proposals and respond to RFPs
  • Process orders and make recommendations
  • Interface heavily with internal teams and management to provide unparalleled customer service
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What We Require

  • 3+ years of successful enterprise sales experience with proven track record in consultative sales
  • Ability to initiate and grow prospect relationships through a variety of sales activities
  • Strong presentation, research and proposal writing skills
  • Knowledge of business technology
  • Internet marketing skills
  • Strong working knowledge with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM
  • Professional appearance with strong, confident personality
  • Ability to create personal relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct true consultative analysis and selling
  • Experience selling game-changing solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or a related field
